Share chats — share conversations with your colleagues
You can now share a chat with colleagues in your company via a link. Anyone who opens the link can read the entire conversation, but only you can write.
How to share a chat
Section titled “How to share a chat”Open the chat you want to share and click the share icon in the top right of the chat header. Create a link with one click and copy it, then send it, for example by email or chat. To take a share back, open the same dialog via the share icon and select Revoke access, after which no one has access anymore.
What the other person sees
Section titled “What the other person sees”The first time they open the link, the chat lands permanently in the sidebar under Shared with me, so it’s easy to find again without digging up the link. The conversation is shown read-only, with a “Shared by …” note, and the input field is locked.
Follow along live
Section titled “Follow along live”If you share an ongoing chat and keep writing, the other person sees new messages and answers in real time, without reloading the page. That way you can look at the same conversation together.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Sharing works only within your company; external people get no access. A shared chat is always read-only, no one but you can write in it. Treat the link like the chat content itself: anyone who has the full link can read the conversation. The plain chat link without sharing, i.e. the normal address in the address bar, grants no access.
Who is this for?
Section titled “Who is this for?”For all users: sharing chats is included in every license type.
