GPT-5.6 is the new default model

We have switched the platform default models to the new GPT-5.6 generation. This gives you noticeably better answers in your daily work, without changing anything about your costs or your usage. In addition, 9brains now creates Word documents in significantly better quality.

GPT-5.6 is OpenAI’s current model generation and has won us over in real-world use: the model understands tasks more precisely, reasons more coherently, and stays consistently strong even with long documents and multi-step tasks. At the same time it is fast and responds without long waits, even on complex questions.

We are convinced that GPT-5.6 is an excellent choice for everyday work right now. That is why it is the default model from now on: if you just start chatting, you are automatically working with the new generation. Hosted in Europe
