Refer 9brains and earn credit

If 9brains helps you, it probably helps other companies in your network too. With the new referral program, you pass 9brains along and earn credit for every company that starts through your recommendation. You now manage the entire program yourself, right inside 9brains.

As a workspace admin, you create your referral codes on your own, with no detour through our team. You pick a custom code such as my-company and instantly see whether it is still available.

You can run several codes in parallel, for example one per campaign or event. You can give each code an optional label such as “Hannover Trade Fair 2026”, so you can tell at a glance where a referral came from. Codes you do not want to use right now can be deactivated with a single click and reactivated whenever you need them.

Every referral code comes with a personal invite link that you copy and pass along in one click. Anyone who follows the link already has your code filled in during sign-up. Alternatively, you can share just the short code, which your contacts enter themselves when they register.

For print, slides or your trade-fair booth, you can generate a QR code for each code and download it as an image file. That way your recommendation works offline too.

As soon as a company you referred buys a license, we credit your account. By default you receive 50 euros, and the referred company receives 25 euros in starting credit plus an extended trial of 14 days. The current conditions are always shown directly in the referral dialog, so you never rely on an outdated figure.

The credit lands in your account automatically and is offset against your usage. So it is a genuine bonus, with no extra effort on your side.

For each code you can see directly how many people redeemed it and how many of them became paying customers. This shows you which campaign or which channel works best.

You will find the referral program in the account menu in the sidebar as well as on its own card in billing. Colleagues without admin rights can also see the codes and links and share them, while creating and managing codes stays reserved for workspace admins.
