More quota and no more hard stop

Two improvements that go live today. Free of charge for all existing licenses, with no contract change, and you do not need to do anything.

One third more quota in every license

Pro, Business and Max now include one third more monthly quota. More room for in-depth analyses with the premium models, more headroom for complex coding sessions, more air for the power users on your team. The increase takes effect automatically, including for all running subscriptions.

In workspaces with multiple licenses the effect compounds: because the quota is shared across the tenant, the shared pool grows by one third per license. A team with five Business licenses thus has an extra five thirds of volume in the pool starting today. Anyone running a productive sprint in a given week automatically benefits from the unused headroom of their colleagues.

A practical side effect: your Agents draw from this pool as well. Cron runs, webhook triggers and autonomous inbox processing thus run comfortably in the background, without you having to worry about conflicts with the active chat.

We are responding to the real usage of the past months. Even with the previous quotas, the majority of our customers got along well; with the additional third, you have noticeably more headroom for weeks when things ramp up, and for employees who use AI particularly intensively.

When the quota does run out: you stay in the chat

Previously, the monthly limit was a hard stop: the next message was rejected until the next billing cycle reset. That is over.

From today, you keep chatting without interruption even at the limit, with selected economical models. These deliver fast, precise answers for the vast majority of all queries and remain fully available to you beyond the premium quota. You no longer lose a single productive day just because the monthly budget runs short at the end of the cycle.

You can see this in two places: in the model selector, the premium models are grayed out until the next billing month, including the exact date from which they are available again. In the left sidebar you see at a glance that only the economical models are currently active. Tenant admins can top up credit or upgrade the license if you want immediate access to the premium models again.

What you need to do

Nothing. The larger quota is active starting today, and the switch to the economical models happens automatically at the limit. Details on the quotas per license type are available under Billing.
